What is the procedure for developing a virtual reality app?
We always start the development process by getting to know the client, the company, and the processes. Our creative team gets to work on a concept and quote after we understand the requirements.
This is shared with the client, and after approval, a project kick-off meeting is scheduled. Tasks and responsibilities are discussed during the kick-off, and a project plan is developed. Another design document or process is delivered after the start of the project, when developing some VR apps.
How long does it take to develop a virtual reality app?
Creating a virtual reality application takes between 4 and 12 weeks on average, depending on the complexity. Training applications, such as vr simulations, typically take longer to develop than a simpler (marketing) vr application.
What platforms do you create virtual reality apps for?
We create virtual reality apps for any platform, including mobile devices such as Android and Apple devices in conjunction with Google Cardboard. Oculus Quest and PICO VR are standalone headsets. A virtual reality application can also be created for more complex headsets that connect to a PC or external device, such as the HP Reverb G2.
